Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA Erick Orellana at a young age began his beauty education while still in High School. Erick then moved to Tucson Arizona and attended the Arizona Academy of Beauty. He then returned to his native city and began his 2 year apprenticeship as head assistant to top celebrity colorist at The John Frieda Salon, with clients which include, Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway, Laura Dern, Diane Keaton and many others. After fine tuning his own skills and developing an artistic drive Erick has continued on to maintain his clientele working at the PRIVÉ Salon in Los Angeles.

Sought out for color correction, Erick can transform any shade to any specific desired color, thus maintaining the condition of the hair. Through skill, experience, and education many factors are taken into consideration when coloring hair, weather it be for Film, or Photography, lighting, shading, location are key factors. On day to day clients, skin tone, eye color, and overall maintenance are key.
